Weather Wins Every Time

Last week on Thursday Texas was being pummeled by weather systems. Houston for the second time in as many weeks was dealing with winds up to 110 miles an hour. Torrential rain and wind with almost like category 2 hurricane results.

As of Monday morning May 20, 2024, seventy five percent of the million customers that lost power last week Thursday are back online. However, twenty five percent are still without power as energy companies are working hard to restore. Other agencies like Austin Energy have arrived in Houston to assist in the repair work.

First responders were in undated with calls and continued to respond. Airports were at a ground stop with multiple cancellations and delays even late that night as it proceeded to New Orleans and other part of Louisianna.
