Unbelievable devastation, death and destruction caused by Hurricane Helene. A name that will not be forgotten as the most destructive we have seen in decades.
Hospitals and even first responders had to be rescued at one east Tennessee Hospital roof. Rainfall so intense caused catastrophic flooding. As far west in North Carilina like the city of Ashville where even the mayor said not one place was spared from this devastating flood.
Five states from Florida up to North Carolina just decimated by the entire strength and deluge of Helene. Ashville airport even today Monday September 30, 2024, can barely get flights out as it struggles like the rest to recover. So many stories so many agencies from across the country to come assist as best they can. Even three first responders from San Diego on their way to help in response to Hurricane Helene were injured. An accident around 12.45 am on east Highway 20 Louisianna seriously injuring the three firefighters.
Air ambulance responded to the accident where they are being treated at Louisianna University Hospital in Shreveport. Many put their lives on the line to help others without question. Its now we all need to come together for all those who need the help.
