Wednesday lunchtime makes it less than a week away from Christmas Day. When packing that suitcase for road or air travel pack your patience. Airports give an extra hour than normal as security lines may be longer as well as bag check.
The roadways from the upper Midwest to New England coastline might be wintry in weather conditions as expected forecast to be ice, snow and treacherous in northern parts. Fire Rescue is available but like others it may take time if wintery conditions abound. We all want you to travel safely and get to your destination but give it time as millions are expected to travel beginning now and peak time on December 22.
All airlines are running normally currently, and airports expect exceptional amounts of air travel. From TSA to airlines, they all are they for you so again please be patient. As New Year is a week after Christmas Day many will make their way to bring in the New Year.
Fire and Aviation TV will continue to cover airports with morning reports. Before we get to the date want to wish you all Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas. As New Years eve is fast approaching wish you the best in success for 2025. All those that care and protect as first responders. We all thank you and wish you the best Christmas and New Year. May your aspirations and plans for advancing to a better life come to fruition in 2025.
