Friday night January 31 a tragic and horrific air crash into the streets of north Philadelphia. At around 6.30pm local time an air ambulance comes crashing out of the sky killing four crew members a mother and her little daughter. The air crash killed everyone on board.
On the ground a fire ball injuring 22 and 3 are critical. Cars ablaze houses on fire and a horrific scene beyond words. This only two nights after the unthinkable collision pf a military helicopter and a American Airlines flight on approach to Washington’s Reagan airport.
Two unthinkable events that brought shiver and disbelief in the world and especially the aviation industry. As much as we know, like in the fire departments things happen and sometimes back-to-back.
Fire and Aviation TV covered on X media with coverage in real time. Our hearts and prayers go out to all affected.
First responders and all agencies excelled and saved more infernos from happening in the immense carnage and jet fuel loaded area. Houses were on fire and so much going on with car fires and many injured as it was a Friday night.
The Learjet was a Mexican air ambulance Learjet 35A. The company operating the flight was Jet Rescue Air Ambulance. It had just taken off from North Philadelphia airport fully fueled as it was climbing out of the airport to its flight level and was supposed to fly to Missouri. Full investigation is under way by the F.A.A and N.T.S.B.
