Friday March 21, 2025, another day in history. First Heathrow Airport suffered a power outage due to a fire at an offsite power substation. This alone caused a major upheaval in airlines that operate out of that airport.
Secondly here in the U.S Airlines and passengers had to deal with temporary ground stops at Houston, Austin and Dallas airports. All due to staff shortage at air traffic control. Flights were being diverted and even Houstin traffic to Austin causing a domino effect of ground stops.
Fire and Aviation TV reported from an airport and reported accordingly and through X media. As other events worldwide have affected the aviation industry changes had to be made in a few areas.
