It all began on Friday in Nebraska. Then continued into Saturday April 27 in Omah and surrounding areas. Even a tornado tears through the Omah Eppley airport cutting over and damaging the general aviation side of the airport. Over this weekend violent tornadoes hit many areas including Shelby Iowa, Minden Iowa, Elkorn, Nebraska and many others.

Saturday night through Sunday morning Oklahoma had just experienced horrific results. Four deaths and at least one hundred injuries at this time of editorial. First responders from Fire EMS and Police assisting all those affected. Local and state agencies involved in organization to help those in need. Even before this weekend on Thursday the State of Oklahoma opened the EOC. This is assistance and great forecasting of potential volatile weather.

Without the foresight and excellent forecasting there could have been a far worse outcome in all the areas of those affected. Even at the beginning of the week Greg Abbot of Texas issued a state of emergency before this weekend’s volatile weather. Our hearts and prayers go out to all those affected and the continued support and help from first responders.
