United Airlines Moves Forward in Maintenance

The last five weeks have been a very troubling time for United Airlines with slip ups and mishaps. With The FAA now placing United airlines under a safety probe limits the expansion plans of routes. Another factor that has made United airlines slow down of expansion of routes is the result of Boeing Airplanes mess to put it in simple terms. Scott Kirby the airlines C.E.O. has been on the offence and stating his airline is safe and will improve. Without a doubt it does seem to have had a turbulent time and a lot of press attention.

Let us share something that’s important, safety. United as always is forward thinking to better itself and keep people flying. Training is essential as is in the fire and ems service. Fire and aviation TV is a true believer of training on the job as well as learning from others. Classroom is important but so is on the job hands on training. With pilots in the next few years and a shortage of them. The same goes for people trained to maintain the growing fleet of aircraft.

This career among others in the airline industry cannot be replaced by artificial intelligence, Hands on and human eyes are needed to continue working on these aircraft. Maintenance will need a skilled and trained professional. United Airlines is one airline that believes in constant training and hands on. Last year 2023 operating revenue was 53.7 billion dollars and a operating expense of 49.5 billion dollars.
