REGIONAL AIRPORTS

Regional Airports Ramp Up

As March 2025 ends and spring break is in full swing. There are many airports feeling the masses lined up to get through security. For regional airports an increase is a welcoming sign of revenue and still a breeze by any standards.

With much to do with pre-planning of any airport. Regional airports alone are ramping up with airlines like Breeze Airways Avello Airlines and a couple of others like Contour Airlines.

Fire and Aviation TV has seen an increase in airlines cutting back on overheads from remote boarding for which Frontier Airlines is a major player of low-cost cutting. Air bridges from terminal to aircraft is costly when added up on daily, weekly and monthly operational costs.

Austin (ABIA) when the day of the south terminal officially closes. That date is slated for early 2026. Now one thing imagines a delays of west gate expansion not opening in time. Could this result in off-terminal boarding that Frontier Airlines prefers to reduce costs? No this would not happen as west gate expansion has aligned with the south terminal closure. Even though not officially announced a date of both or to the public.

Another thing is that some regional airports do operate without gate bridges to aircraft from the terminal. Among other factors, airport fees and landing costs are lower compared to mid-level to large airports. Fire and Aviation TV highly recommends that we utilize the smaller and regional airports for both the communities and airlines themselves.

Our 2025 Mission to Make Airports Great Again

Fire and Aviation TV founder begins with talking to a few regional airports and others to make it better to be a regional airport.

In 2024 milestone agreements were made to better a few regional airports. We have the ability to make them better with some of the background and future vision.

As Ireland, the world and us as a nation celebrate St Patrick’s Day, 2025 there are some airports that will need not only luck but better management. Recent two weeks Fire and Aviation TV has learned much from conventions and informative sessions. There are some cities and airports that need better management and planning. Our dedication is to serve and be a part of those that will accept our experience to a better future.

Regional Airports Continue to Grow.

Air travel and airports have come long way since lockdown 2020 due to Coronavirus pandemic. Many regional airports with aligned growth of a few airlines have been and will become revived. One airport that has yet to begin commercial service is McKinney Airport north of Dallas Texas.

We have been interested to see growth but last year 2023 locals and officials turned down the proposal. As of, December 3, 2024, a new vote and proposal gives them the green light to proceed and rezone 75 acres west of the airport. This will include 30,000 square feet new terminal and a parking garage for 1,500 parking spaces.

Below are those served by one or two airlines or flights to bring a whole new chapter in aviation and air travel. Breeze by Mid-August 2024 have aligned themselves to be one of the best for operating out of smaller and regional airports

Contact us and we will gladly add you.
