We take a few moments to reflect our first few days of lockdown. The scary the unknow the belief at the time it might be over by the summer of 2020. We were so wrong in that assumption. March 9, 2020 one year ago CNN called it as it was made it an official word “Pandemic”. We as a world already knew that in our hearts and minds. As different states across the country started Shelter in Place and mandatory lockdowns it all became surreal.
Many lives’ many businesses around the world have been lost forever. We took a few moments today to look back with thoughts and prayers what a difference a year makes.
Today March 9, 2021 we look so different as a world, yet many have mixed feelings and guidelines. Fire and Aviation TV became lockdown too and still looks at the world differently. Noticeably we lost sight of our original goals and direction. Somehow on our return became followers and not leaders! As President/ C.E.O. from years of experience before the name and company existed always a leader in both fire and aviation. Following orders too we part of leadership and teamwork. Fire service you must work as a team.
From this day forward we will continue to share stories on twitter as it is a useful media outlet. Other media platforms that are available we are changing our reach as journalism and press access changes. We are focused on bringing you what is important. Fire and Aviation TV has noticed a major shift in certain major companies and attitudes of approach. Same goes for some in positions at facilities or airports. This concern us and we will stand by the companies we believe in. We are not after your position or job we are here to develop and new chapter as we climb out of the dark days of this last year. Same goes for unions, firefighters, flight attendants, pilots and others we may have not mentioned. We believe in giving back to the communities and the people that matter. All lives matter and so do the jobs that many have had. From now many months and years ahead we reach out to make changes and adapt to those changes. To share the stories yet make difference by being a leader for many years to come.
