Time Capsule of 15-Month-Old Letter

A far changing time and uncertainty March 2020 as we watched plane by plane landing at a boneyard. Years before 2020 older retired came to the facilities to be scrapped or maybe get another lease of life. Pilots, airlines and just people do not expect to see young Airbus a brightly gleaming aircraft come to a standstill being stored for the unknown journey of time.

Far-fetched and in 15 months the last airbus A321 to return to service. A first officer sees this attached to a tray table Some 435 days latter.

With all hands-on deck a sea of people flying breaking records like none before. June sees waves of people trying to get through security where lines that can be long and planes full to each of everyone. Pilot shortage with some and new airlines grace the skies. Flying to once deserted ramps and airports that once forgot. The hustle and bustle bringing many back to life with airlines that long forgot Those like Jackson Mississippi seeing southwest the first in ten years.

For one celebrating fifty years this month. That is Southwest and what a huge difference it made. For fifty years ago it was an era we will never see again but those will remember it was quiet fun times back in those days. So maybe we all need to be taught how back then it was all about respect. No fights on flight, no brawls at airports. All about flying high to the skies with nothing but respect and pure delight.

We now move forward make a new chapter in flight. Now let’s see what is in sight
