Mergers and Monopolies

Are we heading to oblivion and mega airline carries again Yes, we are mergers make monopolies and the families and mom and pops travelers get left behind without affordable pricing.

Hawaiian Airlines acquired by Alaska Airlines will make of a huge airline itself. JetBlue airways and Spirit airlines will be another. Hawaiian Airlines has been billed at a price tag of $1.9 Billion. This devise route expansion with the two airlines to become one. Do they say Aloha Alaska or does the name Hawaiian disappear?

Over the years there have been many mergers and hostile takeovers stretching back to the / late 1980’s. Has anyone learned the lessons or at least taken note. We have and that’s why we oppose this merge among others that have fallen on deaf ears,

We stand by those that make a difference and understand that everyone that flies as important as the next person. For those airlines like Breeze specially making a difference. Talking of such the original founder of JetBlue airways who left the airline and founded Azul Airlines years ago. We used to love JetBlue up until 2016 when we like many noticed a decline in standards from on time flights to other issues. Having recently flown them were delayed almost three hours. So, mergers are not always a great thing. Unless of course you become the president or C.E.O. with a very profitable pay scale.

This story will continue as time unfolds with the development of these airlines and the flight path.
